[Real-Life Chinese] 今天跟妈妈来菜市场买菜买水果 - Today I came with my mom to the market to buy vegetables and fruits - Douyin Script

Language learning comes alive when it’s tied to real moments — the smells, the sights, the people, and the tiny interactions of everyday life. Today’s script takes us to a 菜市场 (cài shì chǎng) — a traditional market — where a teenage girl goes grocery shopping with her mom. What’s striking is how mature and independent she is when it comes to choosing food and interacting with sellers.

By following this conversation, we’ll explore useful vocabulary, interesting grammar patterns, and how you can practice Chinese through real-life context.

Let’s explore the video script together 👇
